Job Introduction

We are currently looking for a Team Leader to oversee our two packages in the Morecombe area.

Both gentleman are in their 30s living in their own homes and require 1 to 1 support.

They are active and like to go to the Gym and out in the community.

The role will be split between supporting hours and also 10 hours of Team Leader duties

Main Responsibilities

As a Team Leader within Gray Healthcare, you will be a front-line leader working alongside a specialist team to support an individual within their own home. We support people with complex needs, who may have a Learning Disability, Autism, Personality Disorder, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Substance Misuse issues, and people who require support with their Mental Health.

You will lead your team to deliver outstanding care, assuring quality and safety. You will develop and review support plans playing an integral role in the evaluation of these with the Multi-disciplinary Team. You will be competent in IT systems; including electronic rostering and digital records. You will also spend time working on shifts to develop trust and rapport with the person you support whilst leading by example.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who share our values, understand the importance of a consistent and empathetic approach, whilst staying calm and professional when presented with a pressurised situation. You need to be a team player with effective communication skills, be experienced in using digital records and care plans, and electronic rostering systems.

You will need to possess an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent, or be willing to work towards. You will be motivated and have a can-do attitude, and work within a Positive Behaviour Support Framework.

Must be willing to be part of a back up rota.
