Job Introduction

The Mobilisation Support Worker is required to support the mobilisation and transition of new packages of support or to support and problem-solve existing packages of support across the region.

The role may involve some travel and overnight stays, you will be allocated to packages to support its implementation and successful delivery.

The role may involve a period of in reach in a secure setting and will include day/night shifts and travel.

Once the package of support is fully staffed and mobilised you will be reallocated to another package. (Average 6-8 weeks)

This role is best suited to individuals who enjoy working with new teams, problem-solving, supporting peers, and those who like working in a dynamic, multi-disciplined way. This is a challenging and rewarding role.

Main Responsibilities

About you

You will be flexible, able to travel when required with occasional overnight stays, you will be passionate about delivering quality support and you will be motivated, resilient and have excellent communication skills.

You’ll have the satisfaction of building positive therapeutic relationships with the people we support and build trusting, supportive and professional relationships with those that you work alongside.

Ideally, you will have experience in the care sector or transferable skills. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience as Support Workers within Recovery, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Outreach, or Forensic Work.

If you are a team player with great communication skills, possess an NVQ/QCF 3, or willingness to complete the qualification with Gray Healthcare we’d love to hear from you.
